Nyx OS
Rust-first bare-metal operating system unifying classical kernels, quantum programming, and AI-driven computing on a single runtime.
Nyx is an operating system written from scratch in Rust, with no libc and no host kernel underneath it. It boots on bare metal, schedules across multiple cores, talks to NVMe hardware directly, and embeds a quantum language runtime so quantum programs execute as a native OS primitive rather than through a hosted SDK.

About
Rust-first systems engineer working where low-level architecture meets quantum computing. I wrote Nyx, a bare-metal OS with an embedded quantum language runtime, and qclang, a statically-typed quantum-classical compiler targeting OpenQASM. I ship full-stack products too — the systems work is what I care about.

Where I’m headed
I want to work on systems software that other engineers build on top of — kernels, compilers, drivers, and runtimes. Long term I'm interested in the layer where classical and quantum computing have to coexist, because someone has to design the operating system for that.

Building a bare-metal operating system in Rust alongside a quantum-classical compiler, treating quantum execution as an OS-level primitive rather than a hosted SDK.
